Tchelo’s artistic production arises from the invention of rules and procedures that, through games or systems, determine the form that his works take.
Using different materials and materials, the artist develops drawings, installations, sculptures, objects and paintings.
Tchelo received awards, held artistic residencies and participated in numerous individual and collective exhibitions in Brazil and abroad, including exhibitions at Paço das Artes (SP), Galeria A Gentil Carioca (RJ), Central Galeria (SP), MARP (Ribeirão Preto ), Pinta Special Edition (London, England), Dialog Art Gallery (Vienna, Austria), Trema Gallery (Lisbon, Portugal), Soares dos Reis National Museum (Porto, Portugal), Cerveira Biennial Foundation (Cerveira, Portugal) and Museum Sofia reigns (Madrid, Spain).
